Preparation and planning are the foundation of effective and successful negotiation. These core elements are even more critical if you organization does business in the global supply market. Whether you are sourcing offshore or domestically, challenges such as commodity shortages, increased pressure to cut costs, cultural diversity and language barriers, and sustainability initiatives are adding to the complexity in negotiations. Hear experienced negotiators discuss best practices for achieving negotiation success.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This satellite seminar is designed for all levels of Supply Management Professionals (management, sourcing and purchasing professionals), who are interested in improving their negotiation skills. This seminar will provide insights on how to prepare for negotiation, including determining requirements and negotiation style, using facts and data to formulate a negotiations plan, understanding cultural factors, and utilizing various negotiation strategies and tactics in the negotiation process.

All seminars begin promptly at 9:00a.m. Please try to arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow for registration, announcements and getting settled. There will be a 30 minute lunch break at 11:00a.m. Lunch is served in the same room as the seminar is being broadcast. The program usually ends by 1:30p.m.
